The Easy Recipe I Make For Every Holiday Gathering

Ingredients:

– 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1/2 cup sugar – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/4 tsp salt – 1/2 cup chopped pecans – Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and mix well until smooth and fully blended.

Gradually add flour and salt into the butter mixture. Stir gently until a soft dough forms without overmixing the batter.

Fold in chopped pecans, ensuring they’re evenly spread through the dough. The nuts give the cookies a perfect crunchy texture.

Shape the dough into small 1-inch balls using your hands. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until the bottoms are just golden. Do not overbake or the cookies will be dry.

Let cookies cool for about 5 minutes, then roll them in powdered sugar while still warm for that signature festive coating.

Once fully cooled, dust with extra powdered sugar before serving. These cookies melt in your mouth and are always a crowd favorite!
