– 1 lb chicken tenders – 1 cup buttermilk – 1 tsp garlic powder – 1 tsp paprika – 1 tsp salt – 1/2 tsp black pepper – 1 cup breadcrumbs – 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese – Cooking spray
Marinate chicken tenders in buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese until fully combined. This will give the chicken a crispy, cheesy crust.
Remove chicken from marinade and let excess drip off. Then coat each piece in the breadcrumb-parmesan mix evenly.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Place the chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd to ensure even cooking.
Spray the tops of the chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray. Air fry at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook until golden and crispy on the outside and the inside reaches 165°F. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
