“Dubai Chocolate” Cookie Bars

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, melted 1 1/4 cups brown sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup chopped “Dubai chocolate” or milk chocolate 1/2 cup chopped dates (optional)

1

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a square baking pan with parchment and grease lightly for easy removal later.

2

Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and glossy for a rich, caramel-like cookie base.

3

In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt, then slowly add dry mix into the wet, stirring until just combined.

4

Fold in chopped Dubai chocolate and dates for bursts of sweet, melty richness and chewy Middle Eastern flair.

5

Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula for uniform baking.

6

Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden at the edges and soft in the center; cool before slicing into thick, rich bars.

7

Decadent, gooey, and chocolate-packed — these Dubai chocolate cookie bars are the perfect fusion of bold flavor and comfort!
