Orange Poke Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

– 1 box white or yellow cake mix – 1 cup orange juice (for cake) – 1 box (3 oz) orange Jell-O – 1 cup boiling water – ½ cup cold water – 1 tub whipped topping (Cool Whip) – Optional: orange zest or mandarin slices for garnish

Prepare and bake the cake mix in a 9x13-inch pan using orange juice instead of water. Let it cool slightly before moving to the next step.

Using a skewer or fork, poke holes evenly all over the cake. This allows the Jell-O to soak in and create bursts of citrus flavor in every bite.

Dissolve orange Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in cold water, then pour evenly over the cake. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
